Best. Weekend. Ever.
We celebrated D-Missus' birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary by ditching the kids and spending two nights at a coastal town where a lot of elderly married couples retire to.
Our first night's dinner was…

…very white trash.
Our first breakfast was …

Croissants, coffee and champagne.
I forgot to take any more pictures after that.
We went out to a nice restaurant for dinner the second night and I had venison for the first time, because I wanted to know what Bambi's mother tasted like. Quite tasty.
We stayed up late talking. And stuff.
She got a new watch, some diamond earrings, a foot spa, some Bendon vouchers and a gold bracelet.
My gift was watching her unwrap them over two days. It was very cool.
I was going to save the bracelet for the actual day of our anniversary (this Thursday), but couldn't resist.
Then we finished the weekend picking up some second-hand carpet D-Missus had bought off the internet for our renovations, and towing it home on the trailer we'd had to take with us.
Very romantic.
