This one's about how you can buy second-hand carpet on the internet for a ridiculously expensive price-- it is pre-loved carpet, after all-- and then you can use most of that carpet for your renovations, and then go and sell the ratty off-cut bits you didn't use back on the internet and make almost as much money selling it third-hand as what you paid for the whole lot second-hand in the first place.

I know. I've sold out and gone pretty mainstream on this one, but a think it's an emotive topic that will get a lot of people thinking about the cost of pre-loved carpet and underlay.
