Back.
But I'm not quite here yet.
There's the jetlag.
Surfer's Paradise in Australia is two hours behind Auckland, so that's like really hard to readjust to, especially after a long two and a half hour flight home.
The family vacation was very relaxing though.
I'm thinking of extending the amount of time I take off to go over there a little each year until I'm up to 52 weeks away each year.
According to the locals, it's their coldest winter on record. But it was still eight degrees centigrade warmer than home, so that's pretty much as good as summer to me.
This is where I'd normally throw in some fantastic pics of sand and sunsets, and my oldest girl going on her first rollercoaster ride and driving her first dodgem car and swimming properly like a big girl.
Except my computer seems to have died.
Or maybe it's still on holiday.
I'm instead writing this on an old laptop. It has Windows '98. That's like, nine years ago.
It leaves me feeling jetlagged.
