A friend has put his name forward to stand in NZ’s general election later this year.
He has a good chance of becoming a Member of Parliament, even if his party doesn’t have much chance of becoming The Government.
He asked me to urgently proof his application just before he faxed it.
Lucky I did.
Grammar and spelling aside, he devoted large chunks of his application to attacking the media.
I pointed out that that might not be such a wise move. Especially if the media got wind of what he was saying about them.
