Mexican tiger escapes cage, kills keeper.

I’m on a media fast. Too many headlines in my diet. Trying it out for a few days. Then we’ll see.

No news. I’m sick of how the news in newspapers is almost always bias, negative and rarely new or newsworthy.

Irony, seeing as I used to be a part of that industry.

So I’ve been muting the radio when a news bulletin comes on and running away from the TV when there’s an update that D-Missus wants to watch. I also have had to keep remembering to not keep compulsively checking in on internet news sites during the day.

How will I know what’s going on in the world?

I’m sure someone will tell me about it if it’s important enough. And then we can have a nice chat about it. Like how people used to converse in the olden days. And I'll go "Global warming? I wouldn't worry about it too much, mate -- my Atlas says Antarctica's still there."

Yeah.
