So we’ve been away on holiday. So we’re now all recovering from coughs and sniffles.
Which is weird, because we were all perfectly fine before we went on holiday to Mexico and played with all those pigs…
It also rained a lot.
But still, beats working.
We went to some markets in Waihi town on the Sunday. I bought so much junk that my hands were full and I was having trouble reaching into my pockets to get my car keys out and this little old granny came by and offered to reach in and get them out for me. Offered, with a smile and a wink.
I didn’t know what to say.
So I just ran away.
I guess that was rude of me. I could have at least said thanks for the offer.
We got home from holiday on Wednesday.
I was meant to return to work on Thursday, but I was too sick.
The real crime here was that I was left so lethargic that I did nothing productive at all with my time off. Except produce snot. And pathetic groans. I also said “I’m dying” a lot.
I did read a great Batman graphic novel though.
The Tales of the Multiverse: Batman – Vampire.
Best Batman book I’ve ever read. It’s the Batman comic I want to see adapted into a movie. Sort of Blade-meets-Watchmen. I’d give you the reasons why I love it, but that would be giving the story away. But I tell you what … my three year old normally reads Batman books with me.
Not this time.
So I’m back at work now. Obviously betterer enough to be back at work.
But I still feel very
out
of
it.
Pray for me.
